Monocle Users are Welcome
at Investors FastTrack

We are a small company located in Baton Rouge Louisiana founded by Paul and Shirley Charbonnet in 1989. We employ programmers, tech support personnel, operations management, data entry and collection experts, and a savvy, senior investor. FastTrack is an unincorporated business owned by its employees.

History of FastTrack and Monocle

In 1994, FastTrack supplied investment software to Bill Donoghue. Tony Sagami, a Donoghue manager, in charge of the software project later left Donoghue and acquired controlling interest in Manhattan Analytics, the authors of Monocle. Sagami's efforts attracted a few FastTrack users. Some continued to use FastTrack and also used Monocle. A few switched entirely to Monocle. 

In December 2008, Monocle closed its business. FastTrack welcomes all former Monocle users.  If there are features of Monocle which you found valuable, please contact us at monocle@fasttrack.net. We will help you with the transition.

Mission Statement

Provide the highest quality, dividend-adjusted mutual fund and stocks data. Provide charting, ranking, and analysis using simple trading systems to investors worldwide. Train and support users free. 

Strengths

Quality data and mature analysis tools for constructing well-diversified trading strategies that trade infrequently and do not unexpectedly lose money. Over the years, we have capitalized on unique investing insight afforded by that data. Our products must implement the best ideas of thousands of investors over 20 years.

Opportunities

  • Although we have thousands of users. There are many thousands more who need our flagship, software and data, FastTrack for the Web.

  • Custom design of web-based investing systems for large financial institutions. This is our fastest growing area.

Disaster Preparedness

Since we are potentially affected by hurricanes, we have extensive disaster plans in place
